04/07/12
Yeah!!!! Today is the fourth of July!!! I was so exited as we woke up and I looked other at Bret and said, "Hey, it is the fourth of July." Normally I would go get candy at the Vail parade and then go party, but today I did something more important. We saw that at the orphanage there is a small close line made of wood and when it was full they would hang there close on the fence and they would blow away when the wind picked up. So we decided to build a 8 clothes lines so there clothes would all be in one space so if it rains it is easy to get it.

It first started as we took small machetes and trimmed the grass and its root so there would be dirt. we  then proceeded to rake the ground until it was lunch time.it was very important to do this and remove all the roots so grass wont grow back. So we ate lunch, played with the orphans for a little while and then we git back to work. After lunch we put up the poles, strung the strings, and then we continued pulling up roots and making it spotlees and this took a intire day. it was good because now they will have a spot to hang there clothes and it will help them when it rains because it will all be in one space.
